The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office‘s is holding its’ first ever “Badges for Life” blood drive on Wednesday, August 14th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 1700 West Leonard Street (parking lot). ECSO and Escambia County Fire & Rescue personnel will be donating throughout the day. Our community is invited to donate in honor of a law enforcement, fire, or military badge wearer and save lives.

Donors will receive:
– Badges For Life T-Shirt (free)
– Wellness Checkup including blood pressure, temperature, iron count and cholesterol screening

A critical number of voluntary donations are required every day to meet the need for blood and we appreciate your lifesaving efforts! You can now go online to sign up as a donor and schedule your appointment. An appointment is not required but always honored. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Why? Every one blood donation can save up to three lives in our local hospitals. Thus, if 20 people donate blood, we’d impact 60 lives in our community. One in every seven will need and use blood products in their life!

When: Wednesday, August 14th, from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM

Where: Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Parking Lot (1700 West Leonard Street)
