Sheriff David Morgan is very pleased to offer the Citizens Law Enforcement Academy (CLEA) to interested Escambia County adult residents.  Our next CLEA (8-week) class begins February 8th.  Classes meet on Thursdays from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at the administration building located at 1700 West Leonard Street. Sign-up for the February 8th class.  A complimentary meal is provided to attendees. 

Included is a variety of information and our instructors are all current professionals in their field of expertise. The schedule includes Patrol, Warrants, Crime Scene, Major Crimes, Training (including the shooting simulator), Escambia County Mounted Posse demonstration, Missing Children, a K-9 demonstration, the Judicial Process, Traffic/DUI, SWAT, Narcotics, Gangs, Dispatch, Gulf Coast Crime Stoppers, Property Crimes & Fraud Units, and more.
