Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, along with PPD Officers and Pensacola Fire are striking for a cause and asking for public support to collect at least TEN tons of food (20,000 pounds). Once our goal is reached, 🍩🍩 for all!
We have a front-row view of hunger and the impact on a family without access to food.
The ECSO, PPD, & PFD, along with Manna Food Pantries, know that helping to feed those who are in need because of job loss, disability or unexpected expenses is something easy that we can all do as a community to make a large impact. The latest statistics for Escambia County state that one in four children going to bed hungry every night, so we will stand in the gap with Manna and help. #OneInFourChildrenGoToBedHungry
Drop off food or cash/check at one of the ECSO locations or local grocery stores that we will be collecting food at during the Donut Strike! A Manna Pantries food suggestion list is posted below.
Drop off food items at one of three ECSO locations:
ECSO Admin building at 1700 West Leonard (weekdays 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) until June 28th
ECSO Precinct Three at 30 North Navy Blvd (June 26th – 28th; times: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
ECSO Precinct Four at 97 W. Hood Drive (June 26th – 28th; times: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
We will also be collecting food at different locations between June 26th – 28th:
