Bridging the Gap

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office will host “Bridging the Gap,” a Crime Prevention Conference on the evenings of July 27, 28 and 29, 2015. This conference, at the Brownsville Community Center on DeSoto Street in Pensacola, is an effort to encourage communication and action within the community by showcasing innovative crime prevention ideas and successful strategies. A major component of the program will be directed toward alternatives to violence among our young people.
The conference will begin with a light dinner at 5:00 pm and conclude at 9:00 pm each evening.
Please join us in this effort to take our streets back from violent crime by participating in this conference.

Speakers will include:
Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan
Dr. Willie Kimmons of Save Children, Save Schools, Inc.
Major Craig McQueen, Miami Police Department
Dr. Richard Hough, University of West Florida
Captain David Alexander, Pensacola Police Department
Paul Wallis, Department of Juvenile Justice
