HOME INVASION ARRESTS

Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested six suspects connected to the armed home invasion, including the home owner’s granddaughter, who orchestrated the crime.

On March 4th just before 4:00 a.m. ECSO deputies were called to the 7300-block of West Jackson Street in reference to an armed home invasion. Once on scene, deputies discovered the home owner had shot one of the suspects.

Both suspects ran out of the home, climbed inside a vehicle and drove away from the scene, wrecking the car a few blocks away. Another vehicle pulled up to the crash site, and drove away with both suspects inside.

A short time later, the two suspects were dropped off at a local hospital, where deputies made contact.

During the investigation, it was discovered Tayari Crear and Jemarquz Cromwell were the two suspects who broke into the home. Cromwell was the suspect, who was shot by the homeowner. Suspect Natalie Gagne was the person who picked up both Crear and Cromwell when they wrecked their vehicle.

Earlier in the evening, Natalie Gagne, Tayari Crear, Clint Hochhalter, Dominique Gonzalez, Jemarquz Cromwell and Cynthia Register hatched a plan to rob Register’s own grandparent of money, after Register pitched the idea.

Register and Hochhalter have been arrested and charged with armed home invasion robbery (principle).

Gange, Crear, Gonzalez, and Cromwell were arrested and charged with armed home invasion robbery.

***UPDATE: Quandre Racquis McGee has been located and arrested.***
