The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office and Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Explorers are partnering to help less fortunate children shop for their families this Christmas. The “Shop with a Cop” program will take place on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Walmart Pensacola – Pensacola Blvd on Hwy 29 in Pensacola.

Children in need, will be identified by the Escambia County School District and the Escambia County School Resource Officers to participate in the program. Each child will be given a Walmart gift card that will allow them to purchase Christmas gifts for themselves and/or their family. Escambia County Deputies, volunteering their time, will pick each child up in a patrol vehicle and receive a police escort to the Walmart. Once at the Walmart, their friend the Deputy, will help them with their shopping.
With your help we can continue making a positive impact within our community. We were able to provide for 65 children last year, with your help, we hope to reach many more!
