The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is hosting this year’s United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) Region One Patrol & Detector Field Trials beginning Monday, March 5th. Fifty law enforcement canine teams from across Florida and Southeast Alabama will compete in the week long event.
Come see them in action! Join us at Woodham Middle School on Thursday, March 8th at 5:30 PM to see a demonstration by the best regional law enforcement dogs and handlers. Woodham Middle School is located at 150 E Burgess Road.
Competition events that are open to the public are:
Obedience & Agility – Monday, March 5th from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Roger Scott Athletic Complex , 2130 Summit Blvd
Apprehension – Wednesday, March 7th from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Roger Scott Athletic Complex, 2130 Summit Blvd
Apprehension with gunfire – Thursday, March 8th from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Roger Scott Athletic Complex, 2130 Summit Blvd
